London based Nexus23 makes hard, fast, raw schizo-Electro funk. This is music for the mashed - infectious grooves, brash drums, rumbling bass lines and occasional live bass guitar licks all swarm round you. It all makes sense, though there is only one way to handle this audio assault - dance, hard.

With previous releases on UK label Borg Recordings Nexus 23 takes his influence from many sources. The influence of his drum and bass days is undeniable. It is however also the use of live instrument sounds in the electro music of artists like BOSE, Cybotron and Maggotron that also inspires his work. Rather than be a copycat though he takes all this and makes it his own.

Enjoy it until the sweat drips off the ceiling.
