UK artist Trust the Machine is back with a vengeance and provides the sonic ammunition for the second in The Bass Agenda Recording’s T-series. The foundations of Tresor are just about settling down after his brutal live appearance at the infamous club, just in time for his new frequencies to reverberate around clubland once again.

‘Hypertension’ brings four tracks that exemplify Trust the Machine’s approach to Techno; 100% dance floor focused, no gimmicks and expertly designed to build and release the explosion of energy any clubber goes out to set free.

The title track sparks things off with a vicious kick-drum and is soon snarling out of the speakers, pounding out its mechanistic-marching vibe. Tatsumaki keeps the energy high and builds suspense with its furious looping synth lines. Sweatbox is a more stripped down affair with kick drums peppered and laced with freaky percussion. Last but by no means least is Palpitation, aptly named as this track is likely to induce several of this bodily effect on each listen; powerful, rolling and aggressive bottom end driven Techno – guaranteed to please.
