Hot on the heels of the well supported PumpJack Vol 1, Dutch artist w1b0 sustains fire with Vol 2.
Continuing in the mode of Vol 1, PumpJack 3 and 4 are belters - savage drums and loops blended to create a frenzy on the floor. PumpJack 6 keeps the pace whilst dialling up the atmosphere – pounding tribal drums soaked in a rising mist of electronic mist.
Taking things in a slightly different direction structurally, fellow Dutchman and label mate Formshift twists PumpJack Four into a dark, hefty, broken beat beast of a remix. His by now recognisable hard punchy drums and foreboding atmosphere create true suspense whilst giving the floor plenty to writhe to.
What happened to PumpJack 5? Well, with this much shrapnel flying around there are bound to be casualties…
